Jesus - The sacrificial Lamb
So what was the biblical reason for sending Jesus to earth? Apparently he was the redeemer. He was sent so that ALL mankind would have salvation through him. It's simple. We do not have the capability to uphold the old testament and the commandments. Therefore an all time sacrifice must be made. According to the bible, Jesus was this sacrifice. So what does this truly mean? It means that ALL mankind is free from sin. Think about it. The bible states that in 1 John 4:10 "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." The deed was done and complete. If you believe the Bible then you fully understand that not only was Jesus put to death but he also was resurrected. This was a complete act. The sacrifice was made and the payment was in full. How can it still be pending when it is clear that we are all sin free thanks to the Blood of the Lamb. If we are under conditions that if we don't do certain things we will go to hell. This is crap! We are already free of sin. The price has already been paid. Do you want to believe in a God that would give up his son for the freedom of everyone only to take it back? The next time you hear a preacher say that we are all sinners, then I think he/she should open their bible and read just a few more passages and stop trying to use the bible as a tool for their financial gain.
